From March to end of June, Manuel covered a Release Manager role at an important Danish company, near Copenhagen. It was an interesting period also because we experienced the culture and admired the beautiful, fairy-like castles, gardens and parks.
The exciting project was also a complex one, requiring interaction with international companies and consultants as well as managing on- and off-shore development teams. As Release Manager, Manuel had to supervise and coordinate the various parts involved, but also to provide technical support through the entire process.
The effort of all the professionals participating was reworded, as the project was declared a success, above all in comparison with past projects in the same company.
During the project we had the chance to meet a lot of professionals and make new friends.
In the photo we are together with Sasmita and Rajanikant, two TCS consultants, for the farewell lunch we offered them before living. TCS ( http://www.tcs.com/) is the one of the biggest Indian IT service consulting companies, at least for Oracle and Siebel; very large in terms of employment and extension of services: practically they can be found in major companies all around the world! Managing the TCS team (responsible for the development) was a new and exciting experience and we are looking forward to collaborating again in new projects!
We would like to thank everybody involved in the project, as well as to our new friends (a warm thank you goes to Franco Soldera that helped us out in difficult situations and turned out to be the best Danish culture guide we could have desired for!).
Looking forward to collaborate again with such skilled workers and in such a professional environment and we wish everybody a beautiful summer!
